Radius — privacy policy

Effective November 1, 2026

Radius collects no data. Nothing about you or your location is stored off your device or shared with anyone, ever. Tips are handled entirely by Apple; we never learn who you are.

This policy covers the Radius app for iPhone and iPad. Below is exactly what that means, and the few places where something does leave your phone because you asked it to.

Your location

Radius reads your phone's position to compare it with the zones you set. Each position is used for that comparison, shown on screen while the app is open, and then discarded. Radius keeps no history, no trail, no log of when you entered or left a zone, and no record of any kind of where the phone has been.

What stays on your device

Deleting the app deletes all of it. Settings › Privacy › Wipe all zones deletes your zones immediately.

Network

Radius has no networking code of its own. Three things can leave your phone, and only when you start them:

Notifications and speech

Warnings, alarms and spoken alerts are created on the phone. Alerts contain only the zone name you chose and a distance — never an address or a time. Speech is generated by the phone's own voice.

No accounts, analytics or ads

Radius has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third-party code of any kind.

What we can't control

This policy covers what Radius does. Your phone's operating system, Apple and your mobile carrier have their own location and data practices, which Radius cannot change. Check Location Services if you want to limit those too.

Children

Radius is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.
