Cable Ledger — privacy policy

Effective October 31, 2026

Cable Ledger collects no data. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and makes no network connections. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere.

What stays on your device

The jobs you make (closets, panels, rooms, drops, locations, lengths, labels, notes) and your settings (lengths, paper, appearance, language) are stored only on the device, in the app's own storage. Deleting the app deletes them. If you use iCloud device backup, Apple backs them up with the rest of your device under Apple's terms; the app itself does not use iCloud.

Sharing

When you share a pull sheet, a CSV or a summary, iOS's share sheet hands the file to the app you choose. What that app does with it is governed by that app's privacy policy.

Support mail

Settings → Contact support opens your Mail app with a draft that names the app's version and build, the iOS version, the device model and your settings, so support knows which build you're on. Nothing is sent until you tap Send, and nothing is sent without Mail.

Ratings

The app may ask, through Apple's standard prompt, whether you would like to rate it. That prompt is Apple's; the app receives nothing from it.

Children

The app is a professional tool and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions: ljna2714@proton.me.
